A boutique digital marketing agency built on decades-long experience, grounded in fundamentals.

Our Team

Husain

Husain leads M8 Studio, bringing more than a decade of experience across larger marketing agency environments, including The Social Effect UK, Black Camel Agency, Mint Harvey Cameron Group (MintHC). That background shaped how M8 operates today. Scale can produce quality, but it can also create distance between strategy and delivery, and that distance is often where time, budget, and momentum are lost. M8 was built to keep senior thinking close to the work, where decisions are clearer, accountability is easier to locate, and performance stays connected to what the business actually needs.

Alexa

Alexa supports M8 as a second lens across marketing measurement, commercial reality, and operational clarity. Her background spans mathematics and genetics, with a PhD in bioinformatics, and that training shapes the way we work. It brings a bias toward evidence, pattern recognition, and clear thinking under complexity. In practice, that means looking past activity and asking better marketing questions: what is changing, what is driving it, and whether the story a business tells online matches what customers experience when they enquire, buy, and come back.

  • M8 exists because we have seen the same gap form again and again, even when everyone involved is capable and well-intentioned. The pitch is thoughtful, the plan looks sound, and the first month has energy. Then the work starts moving through a system. Decisions slow down. Questions get relayed rather than resolved. The person who felt close at the start becomes harder to reach. Meanwhile, the business owner is still operating inside real constraints: cash flow, capacity, follow-up, and the reality that attention is expensive and trust is slow.

We do not think that drift is inevitable. We think it is structural. When the people shaping direction are separated from the people responsible for delivery, the work can become harder to steer. It can look polished and still lose its grip on the outcome.

Boutique, for us, is not a style choice. It is a decision about where responsibility sits. We built M8 to keep the distance short between what we recommend and what we deliver, and between what the numbers are showing and what changes next. Not because smaller is inherently better, but because distance is where marketing starts to blur.

  • M8 is small now, and designed to stay that way. Over time, we expect to add a small number of specialists, but not to build a factory, and not to introduce layers that dilute responsibility. The goal is to protect the conditions that make the work effective: clear ownership, fast learning, and a short line between insight and action.

If we grow, it will be carefully, with people who strengthen the work without stretching the distance between what is promised and what is delivered. Because that distance is usually where confidence gets replaced by process, and where businesses start paying for time they never get back.

If that sounds like the kind of partnership your business needs, fill out the form and we will be in touch to book a complimentary consultation.
